For easy Kayak-fishing you need to be organised. A place for everything and everything within arm’s reach. Our internal
rod chute means safe stowage of your rods for getting in and out through the surf line. There’s enough fishing gear
fitted as standard to get you up and running right away but plenty of accessories as you become more skilled. We’ve fitted internal mounted lugs for batteries and fish-finders and other electronics.
Easy safe kayaking demands a dry boat, comfy seat and backrest for all day fishing. Safety starts with a hull design
that keeps you out of trouble, especially in surf, and paddles easily without unnecessary fatigue. A stable hull design is a fantastic fishing platform. You can turn around, fish sideways, manage anchors and nets etc. You also capsize less and lose less gear.
For most kayak fishing surf is something you need to deal with because surf was designed to protect fish from
fishermen. The surf-ski style front deck gives the CATCH 390 huge buoyancy. The internal bulkheads give security
against swamping from the rogue wave or a hatch open way offshore, or popping a hatch in the surf it shouldn’t happen
but … Murphy’s Law always applies. With the CATCH 390 you will still have two dry buoyant compartments.
Finally the CATCH has a huge carrying capacity for big fishermen, loads of fish or to carry all the gear that the new K-fisherman finds essential.
